Figthing spam blogs, a Hypothesis

Spam blogs have become such a menace. They degrade the quality of the blogosphere and poison it. I've written a small paper (hypthosis actually) demonstrating several steps to determine whether a blog is spam or not. Its somewhat similiar to SpamAssassin, but a lot simpler

This is actually a hypothesis (somewhat), that might be prove to be effective..

I see that Blogger introduced a 'Flag button' to report blogs of objectionable content. Is this the result of the long (and somewhat rude) email I sent them last week saying about the amount of spam blogs they farm there! ?

Hey how's that ATOM feed working out for you?!? Glad you went through the trouble of getting that working! Anyone actually use the fucking thing?!?!

Thanks for your comment Edgar! When email-spam was born, no one cared ! But you see now, its become one of the most notorious menaces.

Same way, give this blogosphere crap a year or two, if you allow it to grow, there would be no thing as 'good blogs'. the full of the web will be infested with crap!

And yeah, I might know the reason why the atom feed isnt working for you. Maybe its the atom_id field? Did you make sure you had a unique and properly formatted id there?

If you're against spam so much, how come one of your servers (207.44.140.105) is send all these spam sites to be listed on NewsIsFree ?
