NatGeo Newtonian reflector telescope

I've been stressing out for quite some time now. A lot of work, including heavy school work; a lot of tension. Anyway, the school has closed for a week (Easter holidays).

Today, me and my friend got the National Geographic Newtonian reflector telescope :)


Its an "extra-terrestrial" telescope which's got like 525x maginification. It was quite a task assembling the whole thing and giving it shape. Hopefully we will spot some alien crafts, galaxies.. The manual says that Orion is easy to spot!

I love Astronomy! I even thought about pursuing it in college, but ended up going for a safer degree in Business. Even though I am not doing it as a career, it does not mean that I do not still have it as a passion. When I heard about this new type of telescope, I knew I had to get one as soon as I can. I know they are hugely expensive at this time, so I have to wait till they are more sized and reasonable for home use. But I am keeping a close eye on the advancements in the telescope. I have heard a lot of good things about it. Matter of fact, the only bad thing I have heard is the price (most by me). I have been looking for someone that I know that might have access to one, but so far I am lacking in that area. But I plan to keep on looking.

Cool! How much is this kind of tool? Where can we buy something like this? I hope you can post pictures of extra-terrestrial or universal images that you might spot using this tool.
